\u201eTrei Parale\u201d group is unique on the Romanian musical scene. Through its thoroughly serious, ethnomusicologic approach of music largely forgotten, or transformed throughout time in something completely different, the group manages to situate itself in an area which attracts a diverse public, from professionals to amateurs of exotic curiosities. The founder and leader of this project is Florin Iordan, researcher at the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant. They play music from the past discovered thorough research of written resources, audio recordings on Edison wax cylinders or of other materials, and even a lot of field research which represents the basis of every Trei Parale concert.<\/p>\n
